About us
━ About us
Simply Kids was established by Selina Scott and Thomas Scannell.
who possess over 10 years of experience working with children in out-of-school settings. We recognize that many children are growing up in a fast-paced and demanding environment, where parents face financial burdens that lead to longer working hours and limited opportunities for active play with their children.
We believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their unique and full potential. Therefore, we advocate for the creation of environments that enable children to fully benefit from the advantages associated with play.
By establishing safe and nurturing environments that encourage individuality, Simply Kids aims to become a consistent presence in the community. We offer after-school and holiday programs in both community and school settings, serving local areas.
We consider play as a vital factor in nurturing future community leaders and believe that more efforts should be made to encourage children to engage in physical activities. Presently, children are spending excessive time in front of screens, such as television, video games, and computers, which provide an artificial way of learning about the world, lacking emotional and physical engagement.
